Dietary & Allergy Policy
1. Meals Provided During Training
- Students are served three simple vegetarian meals each day as part of the training schedule.
- Meals are based on a traditional North Indian yogic diet including rice, wheat, lentils, vegetables, chickpea flour dishes, tofu, and seasonal preparations.
- Meals are served at fixed school timings. Snacks, fruits, tea, coffee, milk, supplements or packaged items are not included unless specifically mentioned.
- The menu follows a fixed dietary plan designed by the school and is not customised on a daily basis or changed according to personal preferences.
2. Vegetarian Premises
- We do not serve eggs, meat, fish, or any other non-vegetarian food on the school premises under any circumstances.
- Students are also requested not to bring or consume non-vegetarian food inside the school.
3. Sattvic Food Notice
- The food served is vegetarian and prepared to support yoga practice, but should not be understood as 100% strict sattvic food.
- Some spices and masala mixes used in the kitchen may contain onion or garlic powder. We may also use onion and garlic directly in certain preparations.
- If you follow a very strict sattvic diet where onion and garlic must be completely avoided, please inform us before booking. The regular school meals may not be suitable and you may need to arrange food separately.
4. Vegan & Gluten-Free
- We can usually accommodate vegan and gluten-free dietary needs when informed in advance.
- All meals are cooked in a single kitchen, so while we take care, complete separation from allergens cannot be guaranteed.
- If you have a serious allergy, please inform us clearly before booking.
5. Allergy Notice
- All meals are prepared in the same kitchen, using shared cooking spaces, utensils, storage areas, and equipment. Allergens cannot be completely avoided and there is always a possibility of cross-contact.
- Our kitchen regularly uses wheat, rice, lentils, chickpea flour, tofu, dairy, nuts, seeds, spices, and vegetables.
- If you have a severe allergy or medical condition requiring a very strict diet, please speak with us before joining the course.
6–10. Additional Food Policies
- Staple foods: Rice, wheat, and lentils are a regular part of our school meals. Students allergic to these may find it difficult to receive a balanced meal plan and may need to arrange additional food independently.
- Protein: Our meals provide protein mainly through lentils, chickpea flour, tofu, and vegetables. The food plan is not designed as a high-protein, bodybuilding, or special athletic diet.
- Extra food & supplements: A fridge is available in the dining area for small personal food items. Students are not allowed to enter or use the main kitchen for personal cooking.
- Fasting & religious diets: If you follow fasting, Jain food, raw food, fruit-only, or any highly specific diet, please confirm with us in advance. Any requirement outside the regular meal plan must be managed personally.
- Medical dietary responsibility: The school kitchen is not a medical kitchen. Students with serious medical dietary needs such as severe allergies, diabetes, or celiac disease should consult their doctor before joining.
- Advance notice: Any allergy, intolerance, or special dietary need must be shared with the school before booking or before arrival. Students are responsible for informing the school in advance.
